On the night of August 13 (Friday the 13th!!) the "Let there be Lights" event took place.
This was the public's first look with an unobstructed view.

The brand new $220,000 set of lights at Sonora High's Dunlavy Field were formally and officially turned on at about 9 p. m. by Bill Dunlavy, son of the stadium's namesake.
